Holding Back the Clouds
This scene drew me for its contrast of pure blue sky against the snow and billowy white clouds that seemed to be held back by the snow fence.
Mist Rising on Lake Lillinonah
I saw this magical view as I crossed the Lake Lillinonah Bridge and I had to stop to record the ethereal scene. I imagined a Viking Ship might appear at any moment out of the mist.
Cloud Struck
The sunlight dancing on the clouds was all I needed to make this capture of a moment in time as another day came to an end.
After the Sunset, Bridgewater, Conn.
I waited an hour for the light to be right on the distant hills just after sunset. When the clouds moved in to fill the upper frame, I had my shot.
Fix Me

Con Trail Over Roxbury
The sun had dropped below the horizon, and the trail left by a jet heading into Kennedy airport 75 miles away was magically illuminated, piercing the clouds.
