Half-Cut Field

The first haying is underway around here, and this half-cut field caught my eye in the late afternoon light. If you take a close look, you might note this year’s resident perched atop the wren house in the foreground. The black-and-white version also intrigues me. You can decide.

  1. A glorious landscape… and both the color and the black-and-white versions are excellent. I won’t be the one to decide. I can say, however, that the tiny bird on top of the wren house is a wonderful touch in this exquisite scene.
